Create a wants and needs list

Create two lists. One is a list of everything you want in a property. The second is a list of everything you need in a property. This can be a challenge especially if this is your first time. Our real estate professionals are very good at this and can help you find the best options for you.

Decide on what area you want to purchase

Find the property and write a pruchase offer

Your Realtor® will help you find the property that you have been dreaming of, write an offer and negotiate on your behalf.

Escrow

Once your purchase offer has been accepted by the seller, escrow will be opened. Escrow is an independant company that handles the money, makes sure that contract is executed as written and makes sure the title of the property is properly transferred into your name.

Closing

After escrow completes their work and verifies the title is transferred into your name they will "Close". This means that the transaction is complete and it usually happens between 30 and 60 days but may be longer or shorter. You will receive your keys to your new home and can start moving in.
